theHome, Inc was created in 2017. While traveling the United States with her family at the age of 6, Gia became upset after seeing so many hungry people with many families sleeping and living in the streets. She wanted to raise money to help those with home and/or food insecurities as well as homeless people. Near the end of her trip, Gia came up with an idea to sell all of the sketches she made throughout the trip. She sold everything and all proceeds were donated to a local food pantry.
Today, Gia (the founder of theHome, Inc) sells her homemade arts and crafts and ALL proceeds are given to verified organizations supporting food pantries, homeless shelters, assault survivors and runaways.
theHome, Inc. realizes that food and home insecurities are a systemic problem. We provide a platform to uplift community voices and connect people with needed resources.
Our mission is to do more than just donate. We also advocate for the voiceless with the hopes to end food and home insecurity in communities across the country.
